2021 Unveiling
On October 23, 2021, we hosted a Studio Unveiling of the Hungarian Freedom Fighter Statue at Stan Mullins’ art studio in Athens, GA. We were honored by the attendance of many 1956-ers and their families, who helped unveil the statue. Hungarian Ambassador Szabolcs Takács, Rodney Mims Cook Jr, President of the National Monuments Foundation and Naomi King, MLK Jr’s sister-in-law were among the dignitaries in attendance.
